Language Access for Law Enforcement is specifically for Law Enforcement to give an overview of the reasoning behind requesting language interpretation and translation whenever encountering anyone who has limited English proficiency. The training also gives compliance guidelines, how to access language services and how to prepare as well as what to expect when requesting interpreters. If you are in law enforcement and want to communicate clearly while performing: A routine traffic stop, answer a call for help or interview a suspect – this training will help provide guidance.
