Video Remote Interpreting
VRI is best suited for clients who live in remote areas.
When using video remote interpreting services, it’s important to remember that the experience might be a little strange to newly arrived immigrants and refugees.
The best way to make sure every member of the conversation understands the process and is on the same page is to hold a pre-session. During this pre-session, interpreters will make sure that providers and clients know to speak one at a time to avoid missing any information. The interpreter will also assure both parties that any information discussed during the interpreting session will be kept confidential.
